A three-phase master plan was developed for a new church and school complex in Normal, Illinois. Phase 1 included a 12,000-square-foot multipurpose fellowship hall with a commercial kitchen, church offices, choir rehearsal space, classrooms, and meeting rooms. The fellowship hall served as the congregation's initial worship space until the completion of Phase 2, a 14,000-square-foot, 460-seat permanent sanctuary including a chancel, sacristy, choir loft and storage space. A program update and preliminary design for Phase 3, the education wing, has been completed and awaits funding.
