Clark-Lindsey Village Campus Master Plan
Project Type/Date Complete:
Planning and Programming - 2010
Estimated Master Plan Development Costs:
$48,400,000.00
In response to a changing senior services industry, a new campus master plan was developed for Clark-Lindsey Village, a continuing care retirement community in Urbana, Illinois. The Village was engaged in a collaborative planning effort that included analysis of existing conditions versus current market trends, programming of anticipated facility needs, and exploration of alternative site and building concepts leading to a preferred direction. The purpose of the plan was to provide strategic guidance for future facility and service changes from a functional, economic and market perspective. Key elements of the new master plan include condominium-style independent living towers, freestanding residential villas and townhomes, a new wellness and cultural center, enhancements to home health and nursing services, expansion of therapy space and services, new assisted living facilities, and improvements to the existing health center. Various other infrastructure improvements were planned to support future growth, including sidewalks, roadways, parking, landscaping, and expansion of on-site storage, maintenance, and laundry facilities.
