In response to current trends in senior living, this project involved renovating 131 independent living apartments built circa 1978 at Clark-Lindsey Village, a continuing care retirement community in Urbana, Illinois. The apartments' marketability was improved by redesigning the floor plans for greater functionality and updating the materials, finishes, and features. Assistance was also provided in developing a marketing and sales program that included a menu of design upgrades available to prospective residents.
