The Harding-Weld Library project at Clark-Lindsey Village, a continuing care retirement community in Urbana, Illinois, included the construction of an infill addition and partial renovation of the administrative and social center complex. The new library addition was designed to showcase the village’s treasured book collection and provide residents with an environment conducive to research, quiet study, and use of the new computer carrels. The project also included a new banquet room addition for private dining and seminars as well as the remodeling of the village’s reception area and administrative offices. 8,000 square feet of new construction and 6,900 square feet of renovated space was delivered in total.
