A dilapidated two-story office building was repurposed for mixed-use, with commercial space on the first floor and residential space on the second. Located near downtown Champaign, Illinois, the building’s exterior was transformed with new masonry, windows, doors, roofing, and inset apartment balconies. The interior was completely renovated including new floor plans and mechanical-electrical systems. An accessible entry plaza was also developed adjacent to the existing parking lot.
